HI, I’M STÉPHANE DUCRET
And ever since I was a child, I have dreamed of becoming what I have become: a professional visual artist (a painter)!
I am Swiss, born in Lausanne, and I hold a BFA and an MFA from HEAD (Haute école d'art et de design), Geneva, and have been a board member and teacher at ECAL (Ecole cantonale d'art de Lausanne), Lausanne.
I also founded two art galleries in New York and Geneva and ran one in Lausanne.
In 2016, having felt a block in my own artistic practice, I created ART CLASSE, where since then, hundreds of participants have succeeded in painting many real "fake" paintings after famous masters...
With over 30 years of experience in the art world, I offer unique and proven step-by-step painting instruction classes linked to current art practices (which I am passionate about), which I believe is one of the most important things!
And finally, through my REAL/FAKE workshops, I myself have found creative, and technical, inspiration for my individual practice.
